Good News for Children

Some 4 million children both citizen and non-citizen are to receive accreditation for health care as part of Pres. Obama’s drive to boost the reach of health care to those who need it most. Many children in America have suffered due to inadequate coverage of the past health care system which is one of the areas of focus the new president has aimed his sights on. Though to the dismay of some people in congress, the bill has been passed though it continues to be deliberated as to the hastened deliberations and implementations which some of them claims needs more time.
The said funds would come from tobacco product taxation along with the bulk provided by the Federal Government with a little shouldered by the state. Many children would benefit from this landmark move though with the current economic crisis, let us hope that the cash/funds gets to those who need it the most. The past administration has been criticized for cutting funding to child health care which placed it on the top of the current president’s agenda.
